The NED show.

Kylie (the NED show girl) brought her friend, Ned, to Hamilton East School to show us what NED stands for.

N = Never Give Up!
E = Encourage Others
D = Do Your Best.

Kylie also showed us some yoyo tricks while she shared a story about Ned not getting up in time and being chased by an alien.
She did 'around the world' by spinning the top in a big circle in front and behind her body.
The Paris trick was an Eiffel tower made with the string of the yoyo (like a string game).
She also made a flag with the string, and spaghetti with the yoyo as a meatball.
Kylie threw the yoyo high in the air to make it look like a rocket blasting off.  There were lots of pictures she could make with the string, like jail bars, and a star.  At the beginning of the show she pretended her yoyo was Ned's dog and took it for a walk along the edge of the stage.

One boy in our class was asked how are you going to succeed in life and school. He said sometimes you need to take small steps to reach your goal.
At the end of the show she put a tissue in her mouth and pulled out a very very very long string of rainbow coloured tissues!!!

  5. Hi Room 9,
    Looks like you guys are having fun. It has been ok at Bankwood school but......... I feel like I don't fit well, like every body else in this school.
    We are learning geometry that I could already understand. I only have 3 friends that I do not play with because they play with other people so I don't even bother joining in for some reason.
    My teachers name is Ms Winter, and my friends names are... Amiya, Hine, and Rene.
    I have been having problems with a girl that I know out of school and she is in my classroom, Rafeea might know her and her name is Zainab. And know matter how much I try being nice to her it just doesn't work out.
    How are you guys? I have missed you's a lot, and BAKWOOD SCHOOL DOES NOT HAVE A ORCHARD. And all you do in the library is choose one book for the classroom, one for yourself, (unless your a librarian you get two) and have time to read. Plus you have to have a book bag if you want to get a book out!!! This school is tiny and the rules are wwwaaaaayyyyyyyy different from H.E.S.
    Hi Miss Langdon, Kiana rafeea, Mya, Chloe, Namrata, and Jeszmuel. Miss you all.
    From Battool.

    1. Hi Battool. So nice to hear from you. It is difficult to change schools halfway through the year when everyone else has already made friends. But you are a friendly girl, so you'll have friends to play with soon we hope. We have missed you a lot. Two new students have started in our class. Ileli and Jackie. (You might remember Jackie from Room 16).
      Keep in touch with us. Does your class have a blog?
