Skipping with Erin



Calais - "We needed to measure the skipping ropes to check they were the right size.  If the handles came up near our shoulders, it was a good size."
Matthew - "You should land on the balls of your feet."
Namrata - "Your arms need to be tucked next to your sides."
Nivriti - "We had to be careful not to hit anyone with the skipping rope."
Josef - "Don't jump too high, or your timing might be wrong."
Chloe - "We learnt how to do the bell skip.  We jumped back and forwards across a line on the ground while skipping."
Josef - "You need to have a rhythm".
Griffin - "It is easier to do 2 jumps for each rope swing."
Connor - "It's hard to skip backwards."
Lathaniel - "It is hard to skip while running because I kept whipping my feet."
Aki - "When you are skipping you should always look forward so you can see where you're going."
Griffin - "It is difficult to skip forwards with two feet together. (Jumping)."
Matthew - "Make sure you jump early so you don't trip over the rope."
