Swimming
Swimming is important to learn - especially if you live on an island like we do in New Zealand. We need to remember to bring our togs every day so we can participate in lessons, and practise while it is still warm enough to swim. Here we are getting warm in the pool by making a whirlpool. It's very difficult to turn and go against the current!
Chloe says it is freezing cold. Lathaniel says we are confident at swimming. James says "swimming is awesome!" Connor says we make whirlpools and Drew says it is refreshing.
Tama says it is fun to splash. Sakopo can do bigger splahes! Aryan says the water is wet. Miss Langdon knows this because even though she doesn't swim she is often very wet at the end of our swimming! Lathaniel says the water doesn't stop moving because the world is rotating. Room 9
