Friday 24th April - Peace Walk
The whole school walked to Memorial Park with their buddies. We saw crosses for some of the soldiers and we did a sketch of the cenotaph.
The red of the poppy represents the blood of the soldiers that have fallen. The black represents the grief of all of those left behind. The poppies were growing in Flanders Field from the bodies that were left.

That was a while when the war started that was a lot of soldiers that died back then some people were actually wounded which I had no idea about its a pretty big deal when it comes to war don't you agree.
