Nude Food

We are trying our best to bring nude food to school. This is a HUGE help to the environment and also encourages us to eat healthy. We are trying to use reusable containers or bags to bring our food in. We are trying our best not to bring packets that get thrown away and unhealthy food. Here are some great lunch boxes:

 

Harvest Week - Garden Visit

This week we are having harvest week. We began by exploring in our garden, talking about the vegetables that we could see, sketching them and writing a list of all the the ones we could use to cook or eat.  How lucky are we to have all these amazing vegetables in our garden to eat.

Horse of the Year

While we were busy learning with Whaea Monica for the week Mrs D was away at the biggest horse competition in New Zealand and Australia. She was busy winning ribbons on Crackerjack and competing against the best in the country...

Nature Trail

Our school grounds are so beautiful. Sometimes we enjoy taking the time to be in nature, sit peacefully and take in the beautiful surroundings. Today we got to explore the nature trail (a first for some of us) and even spend some time sketching what we could see:
